Beach Travel

US$4.99

When I’m designing a map for an encounter, I always try to put some interesting terrain or large items in the area that can provide cover or obstacles for movement. I don’t think I’ve ever just played on a flat ground, other than in theatre of the mind play of course. But, while painting this image and thinking about encounters on a flat beach I remember a few scenes from the show Vikings, and a battle in one of the Robin Hood movies that were on a beach and was so inspired to run an encounter here. I may have reencoded my own thinking about encounter design with this image, and a different approach, focusing on environment over terrain.

Purchasing this scene includes:

  • JPEG, GIF, and MP4 formats.

  • Night variations
