Another one of the possible locations for the final confrontation with Strahd is the study. Doing visual research for this location was maybe some of the most interesting I've had the opportunity of doing in a while. Thinking about the kind of furniture and decorations that Strahd would style his study with was very enjoyable. This does seem a very cramped space to have a final showdown with Strahd, but I'm sure it would spill over into adjoining rooms as the battle was underway.
