There is a trail leading up it, on which dozens of souls were crucified on metal trees, the tortured souls of those Hellriders who fled the Battle of Avernus and became the heroes of Elturel. From these trees, stirges sucked their blood and brought it to the top of the hill to inject it into a crucified Jander Sunstar.
