I’ve always found the images of the ‘No mans land’ areas in WW1 hauntingly beautiful. The amount of the destruction that was caused to the terrain is shocking, and in my opinion, makes for a perfect fantasy landscape. In my game, a portion of the land is dying, and I think turning from forest into a landscape like this. So, hopefully this will inspire some more of you. It’s a great place to fight some undead I think.
